Well this is my 112 post . I have gone this far man !(:
Ok now here comes the 3rd day at camp ...
I cannot believe i could survive till this day man (:
Moving on now ...
It was early in the morning , woke up at 6.20 and i got ready till 7.10 and i left the house . Haha (:
Well today was the day my mum did not bring me to buy MAC . So disappointed man (:
Haha . Then my breakfast was like only one small pau -_-
Well reach the CCA branch at around 7.45 (:
I went up to the dance studio to meet up with my friends ...
Waited inside like for 20 minutes ... Enjoying the air-con and slacking (:
As per usual , in the morning ... We had our footdrills . Haha (:
FOOTDRILLS
Ok today's footdrills are mostly about talking but at first we practiced the moves we learnt yesterday .
Haha i was like come on la ... I'm from a military band man . This moves are a piece of cake .
Ok after being in my own world . We marched for a few minutes and then our officer , brief us on what is going to happen as we finished practicing . What can we say man ! We are the best . Haha(:
Then after a few minutes later ... The officer then choose who would be the parade commander and he just pick one !!! Its so UNFAIR man . The others did not even have a chance to show man .
I then was not picked ): I have let you down SPF band , members , seniors and friends . I just wanted to say SORRY !
ok then ...
We had a short break and as per usual ...
DRINK , WIPE SWEAT and DRINK . Haha so standard (:
Ok then after the long break ... We went to the basketball court for our display technique training ...
DISPLAY TECHNIQUE
Ok well we were separated into 2 groups ...
Then we challenged each other ... I was like come on ! I'm from a military band man and Tk drum major was in our group . Haha (:
In the end we did not challenge each other but told each other what went wrong and then work on it .
The seniors kept scolding us , MARCH PROPERLY ! , POSTURE ! ...
I was like come on man . We all know . Haha (:
Then we finished everything i like 30 minutes . Can you believe it ! As long as we were focus , we applied what ever we learnt yesterday and we finish everything and even polished our formation in like 3 days ...
so we had another break (:
Today's marching is like so easy and we finished everything very smoothly and it was really fast (:
If only our 3rd day at Nco and we have already achieved so much . Haha drum majors all the way . Woohoo (:
ok then moving on to the next lesson ...
It was the lecture . Haha one of my favourite part of the day . Haha (:
LECTURE
Well today's lecture was kinda boring ...
They just brought students from Hwa chong institution and some other school . Haha kinda forgot . Sorry -_-
Ok moving on , the people who were older than me by 1 year then told us about the Japan trip . Haha (:
I saw HASHEER AND JUN CHENG . You guys looked to serious man , relax abit la (:
Haha the trip was so cool man ...
Japan leh ... so jealous sia , somemore this is going to be the first but last trip for some chosen people from different school . Haha (:
Firstly they told us about the time in the plane they took ... Around 1 hour plus and they got off. and somemore , they went to a new hotel that was just OPEN and they had the first hand experienced to use all the facilities . So cool man !(:
Somemore the toilet bowls even had temperature remote control for adjusting the temp for the butt ... What is the use of it anyway ???(:
Somemore they went to a concert where they all could see the japan bands perform . Thats so cool . Haha (:
The mace there also looks really funny ...
They also had so much good food for the whole week man . So jealous now -.-
Ok somemore they also went for a exchange program where they went to other schools ... Can see japan girl sei -.-
Btw the MRT was totally different man , they had so many train tracks and compare to Singapore's. Of course Japan win la . Haha (:
Then there was a lady who looked like a auntie perform in front of them somemore . The music was so nice ... I almost sleep (:
Haha thats all i think ... After the lecture finished , we all rushed to the table where the food was as it was lunch time . Haha (:
Also one of my favourite session of the day . Haha (:
LUNCH
Today's menu was CHICKEN WINGS , FRIED RICE , SOME VEG and FRUIT PUNCH . Yummy !
When we all sat down and eat together . The food really hits the spot man ... It like you have not eaten for 2 days and now you are satified . How you been like this ...
After marching in the hot sun ... And you sit down and EAT ! Wow one of the great wonders of the world . Haha (:
Then after eating ... I took seconds with my friend and then sat down again and ate of food quietly . It was so peaceful (: Everyone quietly eating ...
Ok after eating ... We again kept complaining about the BAND MAJORS . Always sitting in the air-con room while we DRUM MAJORS , always marching in the hot sun -.-
Then it was like a competition between the DM and the BM (:
Haiz why are they so childish ???(: Sec 3 somemore !?
ok then moving on ... After eating , we all went up to the dance studio to take our maces for our next session . Mace Technique (:
MACE TECHNIQUE
Ok here we go ...
The last lap ...
We only have a few more sets and the weather was not in our favour so we had to move to the Multi-purpose hall ... As leaders , we have to be flexible (:
Then we started to take initiative and started to practice ourselves before the officer came . Haha if only our band can be like this ...
Group A was my group. Haha (:
We all started practicing around 3 to times and then finally the officer arrived ...
He quickly then told us that we had to be very focus today as there are lots of problems like it was raining -.-
Why must that place always rain ???
Ok then we quickly got into positions and so the officer started ...
In the end , we FINISHED !(: We could not believe it ourselves , we actually cooperated and focused and finished the formation fast . It was so cool !(:
I was seriously loving that point of time . The sense of achievement ... and we kept screaming and jumping with joy . Haha (:
But we have not finished polishing the formation yet and there was no time left so the officer told us we have to perfect the formation by 2moro !
And we respond ... YES SIR!(With so much confidence)
Mr Muhammad was really a good leader ... He believes us and expects great things from us as we are the drum majors . He always motivates us and this motivation really so called 'ENERGISED' us . It does not sound right but its the truth ...
Maybe motivation is the KEY to having things done ???
ok then moving to the last part of the day . It was really special ...
It was time to the Team building games ...
Finally a session not filled with work but not fun . Haha (:
It was finally a time to relax and make more friends . Haha and its so true , u have made lots of friends (:
We were separated into groups ... I wish there was a resuffle man . I want to get to know the BAND MAJORS lei -.-
-Pls people , dont think that i'll find those pretty ones ar ! i'M A DECENT GUY OK (:
Ok la maybe just a bit of temptation ... Hehe i'm such a cheeky boy . Haha (:
Ok moving on ... The first game was Blind mouse .
Lessons learnt-Trust( A leader must alway trust the other members) , Communication(Communication is very important in a band)
Second game was Stepping stones
Lessons learnt-Flexible(To get things going), Communication(To pass down important info)
Third game was Turn over a leaf
Lessons learnt-Communication(To tell each other what to do) , Determination(To be determine to finish the game) , Anticipate changes(Have to move when needed by doing it quickly)
Fourth game Human knots
Lesson learnt-Communication(To imform each other), Street smartness(Be smart at times when needed) , Perserverance(To finish the game no matter what)
Fifth game was traffic jam
Lessons learnt-Communication(To tell what is going on) , Determination(To finish the game no matter what) , Perserverance(To really try to win) ,Trust(Trust the decisions made by the leader)
Last game was skipping
Lessons learnt-Anticipate changes in life(To think faster then to react) , Trust(Trust your partner) , Good timing(to finish the game smoothly)
The games really help me and maybe sometime , i would want to do this things with the band . Haha (: Thats all for now (:
